The Gretsch Company was founded in 1883 by Friedrich Gretsch, a twenty-seven-year-old German immigrant recently arrived in the US. Friedrich Gretsch manufactured banjos, tambourines, and drums, until his death in 1895. His son, Fred, moved operations to Brooklyn, New York in 1916. Gretsch then became one of the most prominent manufacturers of American musical instruments.
Hello, Thank you for viewing my work or making a purchase, I'm truly grateful. I'm a graduate of the Kansas City Art Institute. I worked in high volume labs printing in a darkroom before moving to Dallas, Texas, working in the photo district in a custom BW lab, printing murals and linens for artists all over the world. I later worked as a photographers assistant in commercial fashion and product shoots in studio and on location and in-studio labs. After becoming ill, I returned to my hometown.
