The state flower of Kansas is the Sunflower. They can be found blooming in the summer along the road, in ditches and fields.
This image is the center of a large sunflower with a golden middle. This particular variety is raised for commercial bird seed at Grinter Farms.

Hello, Thank you for viewing my work or making a purchase, I'm truly grateful. I'm a graduate of the Kansas City Art Institute. I worked in high volume labs printing in a darkroom before moving to Dallas, Texas, working in the photo district in a custom BW lab, printing murals and linens for artists all over the world.
