Description
I've done many things on my own or simply done without. Things change when someone says, you have cancer. You just can't fix that alone. The many hearts represent all the people passing through my life during such a challenge. I've done my best to help others when I could-I've bought groceries for others, lent a helping hand or made someone a beautiful bouquet from my garden. Now, I could really use your help.
I'm lucky, I will not endure Chemo, a blessing, I know. Things were caught early and I will have surgery to excise the area. Cancer took my mother and continues to visit my father and other family members. I'm very stressed regarding my health and expenses that continue to drain me. I've suffered with fibromyalgia and lived in chronic pain for years, the result of a drunk driver/hit and run. All of this has left me below the poverty line. My camera has been a saving grace that has brought me much pleasure and sanity...a gift from a friend for helping her elderly mother, my neighbor.
After countless images, it has a burnt out screen, the cost of repairing it would be better spent towards the purchase of a more quality piece of equipment. As long as I'm on this side of the dirt...I'm not giving up! Please feel free to visit any of my other galleries for musical imagery, urban, rural, and fine art black and whites to view the complete spectrum of my work. Perhaps you may find something you just can't live without ~Thanks so much for coming to see me.
Bleeding Hearts photographed using natural light in my garden. Textures and mat were added in post processing.
